You can use them as they are, as complete backgrounds, or cut and shaped to make holes.

2 solutions for the setting up : panels can be glued with silicone rubber (permanent) or wedged under the upper strengthening piece.

These backgrounds can be used together with ceramic rocks as central decorations, which makes the general view very natural and homogeneous with caves and shelters.

Complete backgrounds

Use rectangular panels.

For a 120 cm aquarium : use 3 panels - width 39 cm. These panels exists in 3 heights : 45 cm, 55 cm and 66 cm.

For a 150 cm aquarium, height 55 cm : use 3 panels -39 cm and 1 panel - 31 cm .

Partial background

Use rifts and 1 panel (39 cm) , put a dark paper background behind your aquarium for a depth effect.

Aquarium 100 or 120 cm : 1 panel 39 cm, 1 right rift an 1 left rift. This solution is both esthetic and easy as it avoids cutting the panels.

Special shapes

To hide filtrations, leave passages for tubes... Use a carbide saw.(diamond disc)

Consider making holes for water outlets : Heat carefully and remove debris with a screw -driver (take care, dangerous)
