How long does it take to a rock to become a live rock ? We made this aquarium to test colonisation of all our products.

Decor of this aquarium was as follows:

* New rocks, for the structure underneath.

* Rocks that had been placed in the effluent waters of the Aquarium in Cap d'Agde, or in other aquariums for approximately 3 months.(beginning of 2005)

The whole 'wet' arrangement has a weight of about 10% of the water volume.

Decor

All rocks are Aquaroche rocks, no natural live rocks ; aquaroche colonised rocks act as live rocks.

1 cm of live sand (maerle) from an other aquarium.
