Recreate a natural biotope in your aquarium with Aquaroche ceramic rocks
|
These décors are ready for use, just rinse and put in the aquarium. Most models for fresh water have planting areas and models for marine water have steps for invertebrates. All our different products can be used together ( sculptured decoration with plates or ceramic rocks ...) in the same aquarium. In fresh water, plants and rocks enhance each other. Do not hesitate to use a high rock in the middle or close to the filtration ; it will stand out among the plants and give relief to the landscape. With the same rocks, each one will create a personal composition, that can be easily changed. |
Décor - fresh water |

Most decorations have planting areas to hold plants with their substratum. Small microsoriums can be stuck in fissures in the rock. They take their sustenance directly from the water. Anubias nanas can also be used the same way. |

Example of terrace decorations for aquariums 80 cm (100 to 160 litres). First put a bed of sand all over the bottom of the aquarium. Put the higher terrace (code 7034 -H 15 cm) at the back, the longest on the right side. Link them with a small one in the middle. Put another small one as a foreground . Fill up with sand behind all terraces, and plant. |

The advantage of terraces is to give a depth effect with different levels of plantations. You can change the positions, each design exists for the right or for the left side. Plantation : Play on sizes, colours, lightness of plants (avoid rigid or too similar plants) Group them by varieties. Use different levels, leave empty spaces, to enhance the others. Low foreground. And don't forget your plants are going to grow !! |

Design |
Draw position of décorFirst draw the position of your décor, respecting scale, positioning pumps, tubes and other materials ... According to the type of population (fish only, inverts, mixed) choose an adapted decor : more passage ways for fish, more lighted steps for inverts... This type of aquarium, with decantation column in the middle, requires a higher and more compact structure in the middle to hide the material. Visibility on 3 sides requires a 3D construction with different levels and volumes : so that the esthetic result is satisfying from all sides. A better result will be obtained with fewer well positioned pieces than with a compact and dense composition. Don't squeeze the rocks against the back of the aquarium ; on the contrary use the whole space and leave free areas : this will reinforce the effect of volume and territories will be delimited. Leave passage ways between the decantation column, the tubes and the decors for good water circulation. |
